“The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.” — Proverbs 16:33
“For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.” — Psalm 62:1-2
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” — Ephesians 6:11

Life can feel super unpredictable. You study hard and still bomb a test. You try to be kind but still get misunderstood. It’s like rolling dice—you’re never sure what you’ll get. But Proverbs 16:33 reminds us that even when things feel random or out of our control, God is still in charge.
When the world around us is noisy and chaotic, Psalm 62 calls us to wait in silence—to trust that God is our unshakable foundation. And while we wait, Ephesians 6 tells us not to just sit back, but to gear up spiritually. We’re in a battle every day—against doubts, distractions, and the temptation to quit.
That’s why we need God’s armor: truth, righteousness, faith, and the Word. When we trust in His strength and stand firm, we’re not just surviving—we’re living with purpose.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Trust God’s Control: Are there areas of your life that feel out of control? How can you remind yourself that God is still guiding your steps?
2. Stand in Stillness: What does it look like to “wait in silence” for God? How can slowing down help you grow stronger in faith?
3. Armor Up Daily: Which piece of God’s armor (see Ephesians 6:10–18) do you need most right now—truth, peace, faith, God’s Word, etc.?

BOTTOM LINE
Even when life feels uncertain, God is in control. Wait on Him, stand firm, and suit up with His armor every day.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You that even when life feels unpredictable, You are always in control. Teach me to wait on You and trust that You’re working things out for my good. Help me put on Your armor daily and stand strong in Your truth. Be my strength and my peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
