You make a plan, and then something unexpected happens—maybe a friendship falls apart, school gets stressful, or a dream feels out of reach. Proverbs 20:24 reminds us that God is guiding our steps, even when we can’t see the full picture. Psalm 86 reassures us that God’s love and forgiveness are constant, no matter how many mistakes we make. And Philippians 4 teaches contentment—finding peace and joy in where God has placed us, instead of constantly chasing what seems better.Following God doesn’t mean life will be predictable or always easy. It means trusting that He is shaping your path, that His love covers your mistakes, and that learning to be content in Him is part of growing up. When you face uncertainty, pause and ask: How can I trust God in this moment? How can I respond with gratitude, patience, and faith, even if things aren’t going the way I imagined?________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. Trust the Guide: How does knowing that God orders your steps (Proverbs 20:24) change the way you handle unexpected twists in life?2. Lean on His Love: How can remembering God’s steadfast love and forgiveness (Psalm 86:5) help you when you feel discouraged, make mistakes, or face criticism?3. Contentment in the Moment: In what areas of your life do you need to practice being content (Philippians 4:11) instead of constantly wishing for what others have or what you don’t yet possess?________________________________________BOTTOM LINETrust God to guide your steps, rely on His love, and find contentment in His plan for your life.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for guiding my steps and loving me even when I make mistakes. Help me trust You when life feels uncertain, to rest in Your forgiveness, and to be content with where You have placed me. Teach me to walk confidently on the path You’ve planned, knowing You are always with me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
